We have great opportunity for Servicenow ITSM Developer.
Exp - 9yrs to 15 yrs
Notice period - Immediate - 30 days
Location - Bangalore/Pune/Chennai
Mandatory skillset - Key Accountabilities
• Provide architectural and design oversight to ensure all solutions are fit for purpose and use.
• Design/Build technical solutions based on client's needs and process requirements
• Deliver solutions using Agile software development processes
• Understand the current as is processes” and deliver toolset changes based on upcoming process changes
• Customisation or development of enhancement requests for existing ITOM tools and processes
• Take care of end to end development activities for a specific enhancement or project as an individual contributor
• Work closely with BA’s, Architects, Testing team and process teams
• Identify areas of process and tooling improvement and provide solutions to ensure tool is protected in process, security and performance aspects
• Ensure gaps are clearly identified and reported to BA/stake holders
• Produce design documents where ever necessary
• Work closely with vendor resources to meet development deadlines in case of larger projects
• Take respective ownership as an individual contributor throughout the project lifecycle • Take respective ownership of preparation of release plan
• Involve in Proof of concept activities and provide best possible solution to customer’s/stake holders
• Ongoing involvement in continuous improvement of toolset Follow continuous improvement best practices by identifying and diagnosing improvement opportunitiesEssential Skills/Basic Qualifications:Business Knowledge: Has good general knowledge with some detailed knowledge of products/functions outside of day to day area supported:
• Can engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation from all relevant business areas
• Demonstrates a good end to end understanding of the systems processing for the business area & relationshipsExposure to the follow key modules in ServiceNow is required:
• Incident/Problem/Change
• CMDB & Asset
• Discovery
• Integration hub (Preferable, not essential)
• Knowledge
• Service (Request) CatalogDemonstrable experience in following Technical concepts of ServiceNow is MUST
• ServiceNow web services and APIs
• Expert in JavaScript
• Workflow Configuration
• Working knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc)
• Coding best practices and ServiceNow recommendation Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
• Working experience in ServiceNow Discovery (Preferable, not essential)
• Ability to interface and develop with Java/J2EE backend technologies
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO
• Working knowledge of web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)The following Certifications are an added advantage.
• Certified System Administrator • Certified Application Developer
• Certified Implementation Specialist
• ITIL v4If JD is matching to your profile
