codemantr is looking to recruit Alt Text Writer with below skillset:

Designation - Alt Text Writer

• Clients publish books and online products for use by all learners. Since they value the individual, they write and design for all learners, including learners who are blind or who have low vision. When an image conveys important information, we need to provide the same information in text for those who cant see the image or who cant see the image clearly.
• In a digital world, text is a universal communication medium. Applications called screen readers can translate text into computer-generated speech or into Braille on a refreshable Braille display.
• Images need to be described for the visually challenged to read them, and this is call Alt text writing.
• Alt text writers are content editors/copyeditors who have expertise in subject knowledge and have the right mix of language skills to write descriptions for images.
• We are looking for Alt text writers who can write for technology books. Subject matter experience in Technology books is critical. Need experienced resources to handle this client asap.
