Role We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Marketing Cloud Developer to join our marketing technology team. This role requires hands-on development expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement, Growth, or Advanced Editions) and strong coding capabilities to build, customize, and optimize marketing automation solutions. You will work closely with marketing stakeholders, business analysts, and other technical team members to deliver high-impact, personalized digital campaigns that drive customer engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including automations, customer journeys, data extensions, and dynamic content.Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using AMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), HTML, CSS, and SQL for personalization and dynamic content rendering.Develop and maintain custom email templates, landing pages, and forms using Marketing Clouds Content Builder and CloudPages.
Implement API integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems, including Salesforce CRM, data warehouses, or third-party platforms.Build and troubleshoot complex automations in Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
Ensure data integrity and best practices for audience segmentation, personalization, and CAN-SPAM compliance.Collaborate with business analysts and campaign managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Conduct thorough testing and QA for emails, automations, and journeys to ensure flawless execution.Stay updated with Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and industry trends to recommend enhancements.Provide technical support and documentation for stakeholders and end users.
Required Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on development experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement, Growth, or Advanced Editions preferred).Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, and SQL for data queries and dynamic content.Solid understanding of relational data models, audience segmentation, and marketing automation best practices.
Experience building and optimizing journeys in Journey Builder and automations in Automation Studio.Familiarity with API integration and REST/SOAP web services within Marketing Cloud.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Email Specialist certifications are a plus.& responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
