Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensivesafety assessments and risk analysesfor automotive systems, components, and manufacturing processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Develop, implement, and continuously improvesafety protocols, procedures, and guidelinesin alignment with industry regulations such as ISO 26262, OSHA, and company policies. Investigatesafety-related incidents, near-misses, and failures; perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams includingdesign, manufacturing, and quality assuranceto integrate safety features into product development and production workflows. Leadsafety audits and inspectionsacross facilities and projects, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Providetraining and awareness programsfor employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and hazard identification. Maintain detailed documentation of safety evaluations, incident reports, and compliance records for internal and external audits.
Skills Required:
* Bachelors degree inMechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. In-depth knowledge ofautomotive safety standards, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
* Experience withsafety analysis toolssuch as FMEA, HAZOP, and fault tree analysis. Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and safety metrics.
* Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skillsto work effectively across departments and present safety findings. *
Proficiency inreporting tools and documentation systemsfor safety compliance.
