Aster Medcity is looking for Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Patient Assessment : Conducting thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status, including lung function, oxygenation, and ventilation. Mechanical Ventilation : Managing and operating mechanical ventilators for patients requiring respiratory support. Adjusting ventilator settings based on patient response and clinical assessments. Airway Management : Performing endotracheal intubation and managing artificial airways to ensure proper ventilation and oxygenation. Oxygen Therapy : Administering oxygen therapy to maintain adequate oxygen levels in the blood. Monitoring and adjusting oxygen delivery systems as needed. Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) Analysis : Conducting arterial blood gas analysis to assess the acid-base balance and oxygenation status of patients. Interpreting ABG results and making adjustments to respiratory therapy interventions. Chest Physiotherapy : Administering chest physiotherapy techniques to mobilize and clear respiratory secretions. Assisting with bronchial hygiene to prevent complications such as atelectasis. Non-Invasive Ventilation : Managing non-invasive ventilation methods, such as BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) or CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure), for patients with respiratory distress.
